What to Expect

san diego pet death servicesInto the Sunset's primary focus is not euthanasia. There are other providers whose sole focus is euthanasia. We are not one of them.

While euthanasia is a component of end-of-life our focus at Sunset encompasses so much more.

If your veterinary professional recommends hospice, it does not mean that your pet is going to die today or next week. It simply means you are taking a proactive approach on how you want your journey to look. Educating yourself on the options available will alleviate some of the anxiety you are feeling. We are not here to judge your wishes but simply guide you. We present options - not obligations. Ideally, our relationship with you and your pet should commence long before the decision to euthanize or natural death occurs.

The combination of our center, medical staff and concept are unique to us alone. Please feel free to stop in for a tour to see what Into the Sunset has to offer!

Your time at Into the Sunset will consist of three phases:

Medical Evaluation

  • Discuss the needs of your pet and family
  • Educate on the disease state and its progression
  • Create customized treatment plans

Palliative Care

Death and Memorialization

  • Euthanasia
